Malaysia Airports has been recognised as a centre for aviation security training by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). In 2011, MAHB received MS ISO 9001:2015 certification by SIRIM QAS Sdn. Bhd., and has been acknowledged as the Global Training Hub (GTH) for the Asia Pacific region by the Airport Council International (ACI) since 2007.
